Erik Sjøholm – Biography

Erik Sjøholm grew up in a small village on the west coast of Finland, northern Europe. Inspired by music from the 60’s and the 70’s with artists like Paul Simon, Bruce Springsteen, Joni Mitchell, and John Lennon, Erik started writing music at an early age and today he is based in Madrid, focused on a solo career as a singer-songwriter, writing uplifting and energetic songs with soul/roots sound, slightly touching the world music genre at times, transmitting a relaxed, feel good vibe. The next release by Erik to look forward to is a single release, the 20th of September, with the title ”In the beginning”, written by Erik Sjøholm & Sebastian Jacobson and recorded at Nordic Audio Labs in Finland.
