An ocean of opportunities

An ocean of opportunities

To be an artist these days is like swimming in an ocean of opportunities. There are so many ways to go about it and yet there’s only one way for you to go about it – your way. My current problem is that people don’t listen to my music. This may be for several reasons. However, the once that do listen to my music keep making remarks on how much they enjoy it so it doesn’t seem to be a problem of quality. The feedback that I receive is rather that it was hard to find or that it’s weird they haven’t heard about it before. Receiving this feedback I conclude my main problem to be that people aren’t discovering my music in the places where they discover music in their daily lives. They simply don’t find it. And I do admit that I don’t make much of an effort to share about my music out there… Now, how to go about this? Let’s start looking for roots.. how are these branches connected? How to get my songs onto playlists? How to share them with the people. I’m in a state of experimentation. My friend Luis Flores gave me a lot of advice on how to approach it. He said, you only need one song with a lot of views/streams, later people will find your other songs but they need to see that the music is good in a real number of views/streams. If I’d choose one now right away I guess that would be one of my songs called “Ray of light”. Let’s aim at getting those numbers raised on youtube and on Spotify. Here, I’ll pass you the links:
